Black Cherry -

Round, true cherry tomato, one of the only having black skin. Color is a deep red, with blackish hues. Flavor is sweet, much like other cherry tomatoes, and very full-flavored. This variety is fairly rare.

 

 

 

 

Black Krim Tomato Seeds - Black Krim Tomatoes

 Black Krim -

One of the best flavored black tomatoes, the Black Krim bears 5", roundish fruits that turn almost black when ripe. The fruits are known for their elegant color, which at some times has green or red speckles within the black skin. Flavor is excellent.

 

 

 

 

 

 Brandywine -

Probably the most famous heirloom tomato, the Brandywine traces its origin to the late 1800's, but was popularized in the 1980's. Plants bear large, 1+ pound fruits that ripen to a pinkish red. The fruits are renowned for their lush and rich flavor with much sweetness and a light acid overtone. This variety has become extremely popular amongst home gardeners. Potato-leaved. Indeterminate.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Caspian Pink -

Discovered in Russia a few years ago, this truly remarkable pink tomato is indescribably delicious: succulent, juicy, ultra-sweet, and the hands-down favorite of everyone who tasted them in trials! Large, flattish fruits reach about 11 ounces on indeterminate vines.

 

 

 

 

DutchmanDutchman –

an old variety that dates back to the 1920’s.  by WW2 the variety had all but disappeared and was maintained only by one sinle family.  This wonderful tomato will produce huge, tomatoes of a purple, pink color and a sweet flavor.  The tomatoes weigh up to 3 pounds or more!

 

 

 

 

Earliana Tomato Earliana -

Developed at the turn-of-the-century as growers attempted to bring the earliest tomato to market.  A good salad and canning tomato. A good, prolific tomato for cooler growing regions. It has a wonderful sweet/tart flavor.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

German Johnson Tomato (Regular Leaf)German Johnson -

Plant produces good yields of a very large 16 oz pink tomatoes. The tomatoes are meaty, very flavorful, have very few seeds, and turn pink with yellow shoulders when mature. This regular leaf variety is one of the parents of the Mortgage Lifter.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Golden Egg -

It is the size and shape of an egg, and very productive. This tomato does not split in the rain and has a non-acidic, mellow taste.  It has a bright yellow color that is sure to spice up any dish you add it to (tomato salads are my personal favorite).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Green Zebra -

Very good flavored salad type tomato. Fruits are medium sized, with a balanced sweet-acidic flavor. Fruits ripen to a green color, with subtle yellow spots or stripes making for an attractive addition to any dish. This tomato is also very popular for salsas

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hawaiian Pineapple Tomato Hawaiian Pineapple -

A large, golden-orange beefsteak heirloom tomato with fruit that that grows up to 1-1/2 lbs. When fruit is ripe it has a luscious, very rich, sweet pineapple like flavor.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Isis Candy -

 One of the best cherry-type tomatoes around! A single Isis Candy we grew this past season produced well over 5000 fruits. Fruits ripen to a beautiful red-orange-gold striped and blushed color. Flavor is sweet, excellent and perfect for fresh eating and in salads.

 

 

 

 

 

Marmande TomatoMarmande -

French heirloom. Produces dependable heavy, clusters of 6-ounce deep red, slightly flattened fruits that are meaty, and contain an excellent, complex, slightly tart taste.  This is a great tomato for slicing!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Money Maker -

Heavy yielding, English greenhouse variety produces flavorful, intense-red fruits on vigorous, indeterminate vines.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mr. Stripey

A type of heirloom tomatoes with unusually small leaves and a mix of a yellow and red color that can fool some growers into thinking they are picking an unripe tomato. Like other heirlooms, Mr. Stripey has an appearance that differs considerably from other tomatoes.  Mr. Stripey has a relatively mild flavor and is best used where the tomato flavor is intended to blend in with other flavors such as a salad.

 

 

 

 

Red Zebra -

Red colored version of the well-flavored Green Zebra. The Red Zebra is still fairly uncommon, but its bright, red-orange-green striped fruits are nonetheless, quite popular.

 

 

 

 

 

Tomato 'Sausage' Heirloom Plant

 

 

Sausage -

The 'Sausage' Heirloom Tomato plant is the longest tomato you can grow, coming in at over 6 inches long! It is a prolific paste tomato with a fine-flavored meat.  Sausage' is ideal for catsup, sauces, and canning. It does not have nearly as much water to drain off as other tomatoes. This way, all the nutrients stay in your sauce.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Snow White -

 Pretty ivory/cream colored cherry tomato. Grow much like any other cherry tomato. Taste is sweet and flavorful, plants produce heavily

 

 

 

 

 

White Wonder -

One of the sweetest white tomatoes on the market. White inside and outside when ripe. Add color to gourmet dishes by using white, red, pink, and yellow tomatoes. Perfect for slicing, canning, or making tomato juice. Excellent for making white spaghetti sauce.

 

 

 

 

 

Yellow Brandywine -

Yellow-skinned version of the popular Brandywine tomato! The Yellow Brandywine has rich, full-flavored flesh and makes for a premier slicing tomato. Flesh and pulp are both yellow. Fruits are quite juicy and grow up to 1-1 1/2 pounds.

 

 

 

 

 

Zapotec PleatedZapotec Pleated-

an Ancient Mexican heirloom tomato that produces good yields of beautiful tomatoes. Its has a wonderful pleated pumpkin like shape, but has a rich sweet tomato flavor.  Named for its creators, the Zapotec people of Oaxaca, the pink fruits are large, with ruffles like a pleated dress. They can be stuffed and baked like a bell pepper, or served raw.

 

 

 

 

Mortgage Lifter -

Beautiful beefsteak-style tomato that is one of the most popular heirloom tomatoes and has helped popularize the heirloom tomato market. Fruits weigh up to 1lb, having excellent flavored flesh and pretty skin. This variety dates to the Depression era.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yellow Pear -

Pear/teardrop shaped tomato to about 1-1.5". Has a nice, rich, cherry-tomato flavor. Plants bear heavily.

 

 

 

 

 

Red Pear -

One of the oldest heirlooms, the Red Pear continues to delight today with its cherry-sized, pear-shaped fruits that have a sharp flavor. Plants are extremely prolific and produce late into the season. Indeterminate.
